because at this stage they havent listened to anyone telling them they cant do it, so they have absolute confidence in their ability. if they didnt, they would never get onto their feet in the first place. and you'v got to admit, it is funny!Why do babies when they star walking think that they have it nailed?

you are right...but they soon realise they dont like the 'bam' %26amp; learn to avoid it. they soon get their balance...i think its great watching them learn..in a 'wobbly' sort of way!!
PROBABLY BECUZ THEY DNT KNOW WAT FEAR IS ESPECIALLY IF DER VERY YOUNG WEN THEY START

all of the above are correct, they have no fear, all they want to do is discover and because they CAN walk, they will and look at everything around them until they realise that by not looking in front of them will probably end up with a BAM lol, he, she will adjust, its called growing up and discovering the livingroom which is massive play ground for them.
I've seen some drunk adults do it too.
